Foster a dog
All of our dogs are kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Our greatest need is for people willing to foster dogs. If you would like to help by fostering a dog, please complete and submit the Foster Application form. If you foster a dog in your home, and every time it is adopted you get another, you could possibly save a dozen dogs in a year.

My friend, Sparky, a foster mom for STARS, invited me to bring my Schnoodle, Zoomer, to the beach for a play date with Scruffy, her foster Schoodle. My husband decided to go along, and said as he was closing the car door, "Don't let me come home with that dog!"
When we walked onto the beach, and spotted the little Scruffy, we were astonished at his resemblance to our beloved rescue poodle, Mooskie. And that was that! We went home with this wonderful dog...now know as Zephyr.
