Dog Rescue Bradford

Bradford TNR is an independently run animal aid group whose goals are simple: to improve the lives of NYC's outdoor cats, and to rescue/rehome animals of all species. We follow a TNR protocol (Trap, Neuter, Return/Rehome). We humanely trap outdoor cats, bring them to the ASPCA's private clinic in Glendale (Queens) where they recieve spay/neuter, vaccines, and if funds are available, other medical services. The cats are then returned to their residence, or (on a case by base basis) homes are found for them.

Feral cats being returned to the outdoors are released to their "home location" (or if deemed unsafe, are properly relocated) but are given better living conditions including brand new insulated shelters, as well as a "feeding station" (a modified outdoor storage bin where food and water are available, kept safe from the weather and are stocked with food/water dispensers). We work with local property owners and their neighbors to ensure that the cats are kept safe, their shelter/feeding stations remain in place, and that food/water dispensers are kept full.

In addition to TNR for outdoor cats, Bradford TNR also provides access to spay/neuter/vaccinations/etc to cats and dogs whose owners cannot afford these services. We are also involved in the rescue/rehabilitation/rehoming of small animal species such as rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters and birds. The near future will also include the rescue/rehab of NYC wildlife (I will soon be receiving my class I NYS Wildlife Rehabilitators license).

Money raised by this GoFundMe campaign will be used to pay for all TNR and animal rescue work which includes veterinary care, insulated shelters, feeding stations, cat food, and cat trapping equipment. This money will allow Bradford TNR to take on bigger projects which will help so many animals.

With every outdoor cat that is spayed, we are preventing the birth of dozens of kittens who are born homeless, into a cruel world where there is so much pain and suffering. With every dollar you donate, you are directly helping NYC's outdoor cats (and other species of animals!).
